Visit the Cascade Parfumée Estate
Welcome to Domaine de la Cascade Parfumée, a bed and breakfast located just 2km (1.2 miles) from downtown Grasse, in the heart of the Green Valley. Our property offers an exceptionally peaceful setting with stunning panoramic views. We're proud of the unique history of this estate, which was once owned by the Red Cross as a children's home, and previously by the Chiris family, who used it as a children's health retreat.
We've completely renovated the property, maintaining the original materials like lime and sand, antique windows, and terracotta floors. Thanks to our private water source, we've installed a water-to-water heat pump and radiant heating/cooling ceilings, making the building energy-efficient. Our source water cools the building during the summer, creating a comfortable and eco-friendly environment.
We strive to offer a unique experience, similar to boutique hotels. With only five rooms, each designed with its own unique style and meticulous attention to detail, we focus on providing personalized service and a high level of comfort to make you feel at home.
Our goal is to become as self-sufficient as possible, both in terms of food production and energy. To that end, we've restored the original irrigation systems, the agricultural pond, a stone aqueduct, and are also renovating the traditional retaining walls that are characteristic of the region.
As members of a long-standing Grasse family, we had a desire to return to this historic town and live in a home with a rich past. Meeting the Chiris property was a dream come true, exceeding all our expectations. We've since taken on the task of reviving this sleeping beauty, restoring its former glory.
We can't wait to share our journey with you, and we hope you enjoy the beauty of this property and our story as much as we do.
The Estate Suites
Our guest rooms are designed to offer comfort and elegance. Each of the five unique rooms has its own distinct style and ambiance, featuring elements like exposed stone walls, high ceilings, and personalized decorations. The bathrooms are equipped with modern amenities, including jet showers, whirlpool baths, and high-quality fixtures which are sometimes very ancient but always fully functionnal. Every room provides a warm atmosphere, comfortable large beds (200x200cm), and stunning views. Some rooms have private terraces, and one is accessible for guests with reduced mobility. It's the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate, offering all the comfort you need for a memorable stay.
