Visit the Cascade Parfumée Estate

Located 2km from the city center, in the green valley, the estate benefits from great calm and a superb view. Its extraordinary history deserves to be explained and honored at length: It was owned by the Red Cross (social children’s home), and previously owned by the Chiris family (Aérium for toddlers).

We have just carried out the complete renovation of the site, having at heart to respect the nobility of the original materials (lime/sand, old windows, floor tiles, etc.). Being lucky enough to have an abundant private spring, we installed a water/water heat pump and heated/cooled ceilings (in summer, the water from the spring cools the building directly!). We want to be as self-sufficient in food and energy as possible. We are reviving the old irrigation works, the agricultural basin, a stone aqueduct, and renovating the walls of terraces.

Being from an old Grasse family, we wanted to come back to live in Grasse in an old house that had a story. The meeting with the Chiris property satisfied us beyond our expectations. We then decided to wake this sleeping beauty up by giving it back its letters of nobility. The beauty of the site and the project motivates us to share our adventure.
